As Project and Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring that complex life sciences projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will take responsibility for planning, structuring and executing client engagements, preparing well-designed workshops, and driving the internal systems that enable the business to scale. This role places a strong emphasis on delivery. You will work directly with the founders, taking ownership of client projects as well as internal initiatives that build the operational backbone of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead end to end project delivery, defining timelines, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest quality Design, prepare and support the delivery of client workshops, including defining objectives, building agendas and producing materials Carry out targeted analysis and research to inform strategic insights, project recommendations and client presentations Strengthen internal delivery processes with a focus on business development, operational efficiency and repeatable ways of working Support the creation of proposals, pricing and scopes of work, ensuring clarity, structure and consistent quality Contribute to business development by organising leads, preparing pitch materials, researching client needs and supporting or leading meetings depending on your experience Engage effectively with senior clients, producing polished deliverables and ensuring a smooth delivery experience Essential Experience Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering workstreams or projects independently Strong presentation building skills in PowerPoint with an ability to turn complex topics into clear and persuasive narratives Experience in consulting, professional services or a comparable client facing environment Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or the broader life sciences sector Strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to problem solving Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously with limited direction Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Even Better If You Have Experience supporting business development, preparing pitches or running BD processes Familiarity with digitalisation or AI tools, or experience implementing new systems in small companies Additional European languages In Return, You Will Receive A varied portfolio of strategic and delivery-focused projects with international clients Direct involvement in shaping processes and contributing to the growth of a scaling consultancy Autonomy and flexibility, including a fully remote set-up with a trust-based approach to working A supportive and ambitious culture, with close collaboration alongside experienced founders If you are a proactive self-starter who enjoys delivery focused roles, thrives in dynamic environments and excels at turning ideas into structured plans, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
