As Director of Software Development, you will lead the engineering teams behind the connectivity foundation of TeamViewer Remote, Tensor, and ONE. Responsibilities Lead with Vision : Define and execute the roadmap for Remote Access & Controllowlatency streaming, secure connectivity, and crossplatform performance. Drive AI Innovation : Embed AI / ML into product features and engineering workflows for smarter, adaptive experiences and faster troubleshooting. Architect for Scale : Oversee distributed, realtime systems architecture; ensure reliability, security, and performance at global scale. Champion Security : Implement securebydesign principles and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR. Build HighImpact Teams : Hire, mentor, and grow engineering leaders; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Collaborate Across Functions : Partner with Product, Security, and Operations to deliver enterpriseready solutions. Own Operational Excellence : Improve CI / CD, observability, and incident response; optimize for speed without sacrificing stability. Requirements Proven Leadership : 10+ years in software development, 5+ years leading multiple teams and managers. Technical Depth : Experience building distributed, realtime, or networkingheavy software systems. Domain Expertise : Preferred background in remote connectivity or realtime streaming technologies. AI Proficiency : Handson experience integrating AI / ML into products or engineering workflows. Security Mindset : Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance frameworks. ZeroTrust & Compliance : Strong understanding of zerotrust security principles and enterprise compliance requirements. Influence & Communication : Ability to articulate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
