Customs, Import & Export Specialist

We are partnering with a leading biotechnology company in Leipzig seeking a Customs, Import & Export Specialist to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth international trade operations and compliance with customs regulations for highly regulated biotech products.
Manage customs clearance for imports and exports across EU and global markets.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and biotech-specific requirements.
Optimize logistics processes to reduce lead times and costs.
Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting.
Proven experience in customs, import/export operations (pharma or biotech preferred).
Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
Excellent communication skills in English and German .
