Workster is partnering with a fast-growing startup in the e-mobility sector to recruit a Head of Bike Mechanics. In this role, you will manage the largest global UpCenter, overseeing a team of talented mechanics who refurbish and repair e-bikes to excellent quality standards. As Head of Bike Mechanics, you will lead the team, optimize processes, and continue to scale operations to meet growing demand.
Recruit and build a successful team of bike mechanics, continuing to grow the team to meet operational needs.
Develop Mechanic Team Leads, ensuring their professional growth and performance management.
Build and maintain an efficient training program to onboard new mechanics and increase skill levels.
Use your expertise in hardware and software to improve repair processes and e-bike service.
7+ years of experience as a bike mechanic, with expertise in solving complex mechanical issues.
~2+ years of experience managing and leading a team of skilled bike mechanics.
~ Excellent inventory management skills, able to build and maintain a complex inventory of spare parts and consumables.
~ Strong communication skills in German (fluent) and English (good knowledge), other languages are a plus.
~ Flexible working environment with the ability to take on as much responsibility as you can handle.
