Site Manager

Our client is delivering a hybrid renewable energy project combining Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV farm totalling 60 MW PV and 40 MW storage capacity . The project is currently entering the construction phase and requires an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead on-site construction management of all BESS and Solar PV works, including civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes. Supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate daily site meetings, progress tracking, and reporting to the Project Manager. Manage logistics, deliveries, and interface between solar and battery installation teams. Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC documentation. Drive adherence to schedule and budget through proactive site management. Qualifications & Experience Experience in site management for renewable energy or power infrastructure projects. Proven track record in utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations. Valid EU work authorization Personal Attributes Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing project priorities. Location: Bavaria, Germany (onsite) Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Duration: 9–12 months (with possible extension) Start Date: January 2026 (onboarding beginning of December)
