Als Engineering Manager (all genders) bist du die treibende Kraft hinter eines unserer crossfunktionalen Produktteams, in dem du technische Exzellenz und disziplinarische Führung gekonnt miteinander vereinst. Du arbeitest eng mit anderen Engineering Manager:innen und Stakeholdern aus den Bereichen Design, Agile und Produkt zusammen, um unsere Engineering-Abteilung und die technische Plattform kontinuierlich voranzubringen.

Diese Position bietet einen ausgewogenen Mix aus Führungsaufgaben und operativem Arbeiten, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der praktischen Umsetzung und der technischen Entwicklung liegt. Du wirst sowohl in der Führung des Teams als auch in der operativen Gestaltung der technischen Prozesse maßgeblich beteiligt sein.

Du arbeitest gerne hands-on, bist aber auch in der Lage, die richtigen Fragen an deine Kolleg:innen zu stellen, um ihre Probleme und Ideen zu verstehen? Du hast Erfahrung im Führen und Motivieren von crossfunktionalen Teams? Dann sind wir dein perfektes Match 


  • Technische sowie disziplinarische Führungsverantwortung eines unserer crossfunktionalen Produkt Teams von insgesamt 6 Engineers sowie eines/einer QA-Manager:in
  • Aktive Mitwirkung an der Programmierung und Entwicklung innovativer Features für den Bereich Social Dating 
  • Durchführung von Code-Reviews und Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Coding Standards sowie die Vermittlung technischer Kompetenz durch „leading by example“
  • Sicherstellung einer effektiven Zusammenarbeit mit Produkt Manager*innen, Designer*innen, unseren Quality Assurance Manager*innen und dem gesamten Engineering Team 
  • Verantwortung für die operative und strategische Ausrichtung des Teams in enger Abstimmung mit dem VP Engineering  
  • Weiterentwicklung eines hoch performanten Teams durch professionelle Weiterbildungsmaßnahmen in einem agilen Umfeld 
  • Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von teaminternen Prozessen und Förderung einer Kultur des kontinuierlichen Lernens und Optimierens 
  • Vorantreiben des Einstellungsprozesses und Organisation von Onboarding-Maßnahmen für neue Teammitglieder

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Computer Science, Software Engineering oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation 
  • Mindestens 6 Jahre Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung sowie professionelle Berufserfahrung als native:r Golang Entwickler:in oder als QA-Manager:in in einem agilen Umfeld 
  • Mindestens 2 Jahre Führungserfahrung von kleinen bis mittleren Engineering Teams 
  • Ausgezeichnete kommunikative und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung in der Mitarbeiterführung und -entwicklung 
  • Unternehmerisches Denken, Hands-On Mentalität und eine zielorientierte Arbeitsweise 
  • Starkes Selbstmanagement und die Fähigkeit in einem dynamischen Umfeld angemessen zu priorisieren 
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift – Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus
