In this role, you will work on systemconfigurations, service integrations and testing of softwaredeployed at Amazon Installations around the world which utilize ourmobile robotics platform. You will drive Robotics fleet retrofitprojects to improve the performance, reliability and safety ofglobally deployed robotic and automation systems. Your role willhave a primary focus on new site launches.
Working closely with Software, Retrofit,Hardware, Reliability and Maintenance and Deployment Engineers, youwill own integration and retrofit projects from strategic planningthrough execution and validation.
Key jobresponsibilities
- Oversee multiple roboticsimplementation, upgrade and enhancement projects ensuring programgoals are met; identifying opportunities for continuousimprovement, and driving change for the identifiedopportunities.
- Collect the Voice of the Customer (VOC)data and share success stories during the lessons learnt workshopsand review with cross-functional partners in Engineering andOperations to demonstrate value and efficiency.
- Createand maintain problem resolution procedures and identify need fornew tools to support existing solutions.
- Leverageexisting guides, task lists and configuration processes, systemsand tools to deploy Software at Amazon Robotics sites around theworld.
- Monitor queues and respond to issues withindefined SLAs.
- May become a subject matter expert in oneor more areas or robotics engineering and or program management,serving as a point of escalation on critical issues.
-Develop processes to implement product upgrades on fielded AmazonRobotics products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Qualityassurance engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree inengineering, statistics, computer science, operations research,business analytics, information systems or equivalent.
-Working knowledge of Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma,TQM, Kai-zen and Lean manufacturing methodology ).
-Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS,SQS.
- Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux(RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Ability to establish priorities, workindependently, and proceed with objectives withoutsupervision.
- Proven ability to root cause issues, driveimprovements, and apply preventive measures
- Provenability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority taskssimultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead complextechnical discussions with a variety of groups, including Software,Hardware and Systems Engineering, Operations, and SeniorManagement.
- Proven ability to project manage complextechnical projects.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - Experience working closely withdevelopment and business teams to communicate problem impacts andto understand business requirements
- Certified in AWSservices (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect)
-Certified in Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM,Kai-zen and Lean manufacturing methodology )
- Certifiedin Linux Red Hat.
- Demonstrated examples of a drive todig into the details of a system or process to solve customerproblems.
- Strong analytical problem-solving with ametrics-driven focus on frugality without sacrificing safety orcustomer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and oralcommunications skills with the ability to communicate effectivelywith both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Exposure to two or more of the following programming languages(Java, C++, Python, Shell Scripting, JavaScript).
