Construction, Communication and Public Relations required for a major Transmission System Operator based in Germany

Responsibilities

  • Establishment and maintenance of a local network of local elected representatives and representatives from administrations, media and civil society in the Magdeburg/Halle/Gera area.
  • Monitoring the local situation in relation to the project and deriving needs for action. needs for action.
  • Advising the project members entrusted with the realization of the project in communication issues.
  • Recording, documenting and processing external inquiries relating to the project in general and the local construction process in particular.
  • Independent implementation of defined and proven dialog formats (e.g. information markets, consultation hours, on-site appointments, etc.) relating to the construction project.
  • Advising the construction management team on the organization of events (e.g. construction start-up consultations).
  • If necessary, together with other project representatives, attend and report at committee meetings (e.g. town and municipal councils) on the project
  • Participation in coordination meetings for briefing/debriefing and the Definition/adjustment of work tasks.

Requirements

  • Several years (min. 3 years) experience in communication,
  • Ideally experience in the field of construction communication and/or citizen participation,
  • Knowledge of the region and ideally already a local network,
  • Equal understanding of the needs of construction and local residents
  • Affinity for technology and construction, willingness to familiarize yourself with technical issues
  • Confident in spelling
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Mobility is essential (car and class B driver's license).
  • Residence in the Saxony-Anhalt area desirable
