Seqos is a new private equity model, which first recruits CEO candidates and then acquires target businesses (EV: €10-50m). We are currently seeking an ambitious and highly skilled professional for a Vice President / M&A Director role. In this role, you will work closely with our executive team leading and delivering value on all aspects of the deal cycle. This position will require a diligent and result-oriented individual with a strong experience in M&A and an interest for private equity and entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sourcing and qualification of new deal opportunities
  • Build deep relationships and network with C-Level executives and business owners
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities from origination to deal close
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Develop effective communication strategies to keep investors informed of deal progress and company performance
  • Cultivate relationships with searchers and work together with them on deals
  • Represent Seqos in management meetings and industry events
  • Lead corporate development initiatives and support the execution of transactions


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in business/corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting or a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience in successfully building relationships, source new investment opportunities, executing transactions, managing processes and stakeholders along the deal cycle
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • High level of integrity, dedication, attention to detail and a strong team player
