Regional Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced International People Manager to become regional HR responsible of an internationally recognized company. The person in this position will play a key role in upholding the organization's core values of environmental sustainability and people-centric leadership. Their responsibilities will span both strategic and operational aspects, covering the company's German headquarters as well as the surrounding markets as a Cluster.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Understand the business and activity of the country, in order to advise and influence the
  • Directors and team leaders of the organization.
  • Oversee the Compensation Process, Payroll, and Employee Benefits, ensuring accuracy and

adherence to relevant regulations and policies.

  • Drive the Talent Review process, Talent Development initiatives, and Contribution Model,

fostering a high-performance culture and identifying opportunities for growth and

development.

  • Manage labor issues processes, including employee contracting and timely follow-up on

requests, in compliance with legal requirements.

  • Develop and document Policies and Procedures related to all personnel processes, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Proactively promote projects aimed at enhancing the work environment and fostering a positive organizational culture.
  • Champion corporate values and cultivate the desired Organizational Culture within the company.
  • Lead Sustainability projects and activities, driving the company's commitment t environmental and social responsibility.
  • Organize and oversee internal events and facilitate effective internal communication within the subsidiary, ensuring a cohesive and engaged workforce.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with International HR Business Partners (HRBPs) of the company, sharing insights to enhance HR strategies and processes across region.
  • Act as a key liaison between the local HR teams and the broader international HR network, ensuring effective communication and alignment of HR objectives.
  • Report directly to the Country Manager for Germany, providing regular updates on HR activities and initiatives.


Professional Background


Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of extensive international or regional experience in human resources management.
  • Proven track record in managing HR functions, including talent selection, organizational structure review, compensation, payroll, employee benefits, talent development, and labor issues processes.
  • Experience in designing and implementing talent review processes, talent development programs, and contribution models.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and employment practices in Germany and one

additional region as Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland or Czech Republic.

  • Proficiency in HR software and systems, with demonstrated experience in their effective utilization.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, stakeholders, senior management, and external providers.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify HR issues, implement effective solutions, and

drive continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • A strong skillset in managing uncertainty to be able to navigate through ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Proactive individual who takes the initiative and demonstrates a problem-solving approach.
