Das kostenpflichtige schulische Ausbildungsprogramm Game Development wurde speziell für alle Interessierten entwickelt, die in den Bereichen Game Design, Level Design, Project Management und Production tätig werden wollen.

Unsere zweijährigen Ausbildungen lassen sich an unseren beiden Standorten in Berlin und Hamburg sowie von zu Hause per Remote absolvieren. Weitere Informationen dazu findest du auf unserer Website.

In der zweijährigen Vollzeitausbildung lernst Du die handwerklichen und kreativen Herausforderungen der Spieleentwicklung kennen. Du erhältst einen praxisnahen Einblick in die Arbeitsprozesse der Spieleindustrie und beschäftigst dich aktiv mit ihren Begriffen, Werkzeugen und Aufgabenbereichen. Als angehende/r Game Designer/in, Projektmanager/in oder Producer/in musst Du in der Produktion ein fundiertes Grundverständnis in allen Bereichen der Spieleentwicklung besitzen. Deshalb trainieren wir den Umgang mit den gängigen Tools aus der Entwicklung und vermitteln Dir die Methoden zur kritischen Analyse und Umsetzung von Spielideen, damit Du diese in den eigenen Spieleprojekten nach Industriestandards anwenden kannst.

Während der Projektarbeit in den ersten drei Semestern kannst du dich entweder auf die Aufgaben eines/r Game Designers/in konzentrieren oder übernimmst den Part des/der Projektmanagers/in und koordinierst dein Team und deren Aufgabe. Im vierten Semester ist erwartet unsere Schüler/innen ein mehr wöchiges Pflichtpraktikum und dient als direktes Sprungbrett in die Industrie.

Voraussetzungen

Formale Mindestvoraussetzungen

  • Mindestalter 16 Jahre (Das Durchschnittsalter liegt bei 22 Jahren)
  • Einen Schulabschluss der die Schulpflicht in eurem jeweiligen Bundesland abdeckt
  • Finanzierungsansätze über alle möglichen Wege

Persönliche Grundvoraussetzungen

  • Technisches Verständnis und sicherer Umgang mit PC sowie Internet
  • Interesse für Medien, Online-Anwendungen und Games
  • Interesse für das Entstehen von Games, nicht nur das Konsumieren
  • Kreativität, Kommunikationsbereitschaft & Teamfähigkeit
  • Und vor allem eine große Portion Motivation, Fleiß und Engagement
