Position: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Office in Freiburg)

Salary: Up to €85,000

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and deploying advanced firewall solutions using industry-leading technologies such as Sophos, Fortigate, and WatchGuard.
  • Installation and configuration of Windows Server environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our clients' cyber security posture.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network and security issues.
  • Providing expert guidance on network architecture and security best practices.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a Systems Engineer role with a strong focus on network security and firewalls.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with firewall solutions like Sophos, Fortigate, or WatchGuard. Solid experience with Windows Servers.
  • Language: Strong proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) is essential.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
