We are currently looking for a colleague to join our IT Operations & Network Team that is a part of our Infrastructure Department


Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Define goals, processes, and resources for the CMDB
  • Design and update the CMDB data model
  • Ensure accurate representation of IT resources and their relationships – you need to link it to other IT services
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT management tools and data sources
  • Monitor the quality of data in the CMDB
  • Conduct regular audits and data cleansing to maintain accuracy, currency, and reliability
  • Create reports and perform analyses on IT configurations


Your skills and experience:


  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) - vast experience in ITSM roles (configuration management, asset management, or change management).
  • Experience with CMDB Tools: Hands-on experience with CMDB tools such as USU, or other similar platforms.
  • Experience in Data Management: Proven experience in data modelling, data integration, and data quality management.
  • Understanding of ITIL Framework: Comprehensive knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly around configuration management and service asset management.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, development, and business units.
