Senior Process Engineer

The mission of the Senior Process Engineer is to drive excellence in our manufacturing operations by designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
This role is dedicated to troubleshooting product issues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our manufacturing practices remain innovative, sustainable, and competitive.
The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead process improvement initiatives, and apply advanced engineering principles to deliver high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Role Overview
Process Setup and Optimization:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient production processes to achieve optimal manufacturing performance.
- Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
- Utilize process simulation software and other engineering tools to model and optimize production processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve cost savings.
- Conduct regular process audits and implement corrective actions to address process inefficiencies and deviations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline production processes.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent application.
Product Troubleshooting:
- Investigate and resolve production issues and product defects to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis of product failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control measures.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to modify product designs and specifications to improve manufacturability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to address and resolve process-related challenges.
General Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates to senior management.
- Manage process engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
