To support its growth ambitions, the company is recruiting:


Head of E-commerce



The role is based in Berlin and reports directly to the CEO of the organization.


Major responsibilities:


  • Lead and take responsibility for the company's e-commerce business and P/L.
  • Drive the development and implementation of the company's E-commerce strategies in close collaboration with the CEO and CMO.
  • Maximize e-commerce revenues through product portfolio, pricing, specific sales activities, and online marketing activities.
  • Maximize e-shop performance through optimization of the customer journey, content and functionality, and service levels.


Management responsibilities:


  • Lead, support, and develop customer service team.
  • Strengthen internal e-commerce competences and develop the e-commerce unit & teams.
  • Manage internal and external partners (e-commerce agencies, web developers, 3PLs, etc.) and associated budgets.
  • Complete management of relations with existing and new e-commerce platforms, and management of product pages.
  • Internal cross-functional projects.


With objective to reach company’s e-commerce ambition in terms of sales, net result, traffic, conversion and customer experience.

As such a good combination of sales, marketing, technical and project management skills are required to perform and be successful in this role.


Skills and attributes/profile:


  • Strategic mindset with hands on attitude.
  • Ability to work and perform at all levels internally and externally.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on leading position in e-commerce gained in-house and / or at marketplaces.
  • Business savviness, sales and result driven profile with good marketing related competences.
  • Active knowledge of e-commerce tools, such as Google analytics, Google Ads, CRM Tools. A/B testing, and similar
  • Driven, self-sufficient, entrepreneurial and analytic.
  • Abilities to influence. Upper-level communication skills.
  • English at proficiency level is a must. Ideally native / bilingual German speaker.
