The role:


We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Account Manager for the South of Germany (70-94 postcode area), who will be responsible for building and strengthening our market position in your region. You will work on acquiring new customers as well as maintaining and developing existing relationships.


What you'll do:


  • Contribute to the growth of the company by achieving the annual sales goal established for the territory.
  • Be active within the territory by visiting customer sites and representing the company at regional associations, trade shows and symposiums.
  • Identify, prospect and win new customers in the market.
  • Responsible for the overall management of accounts in your territory (contracting, pricing, negotiation, logistics and reporting).
  • Establish regional action plans to support AnalytiChem in achieving its sales targets.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure the markets receive the service they need.
  • Support the implementation and successful execution of all sales programs and marketing campaigns.
  • Act as the point of contact for all technical and customer support issues and guide the customer through to resolution.
  • Continually expand knowledge of products, customers, and sales techniques.
  • Provide market intelligence to management and peers.


We are looking for:


  • Background in Chemistry.
  • 3-5 years' of experience in Sales, Account Management or similar.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Driven sales mentality and commercial insight.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an hands-on approach and eager to learn.
