Vice President of Product Management

Our client is a fast-growing B2B platform, backed by some of the world’s leading VCs. They are looking for an experienced (+8y) VP of Product to shape product strategy, lead a growing team, and drive the next phase of product excellence. This role is Berlin-based with a 5-days-in-office culture, leading 2 PMs and 1 Designer from day one, with more hires planned.🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and define the product strategy and roadmap, aligned with company goals and market opportunities.Oversee the product portfolio, ensuring clear prioritisation and delivery excellence.Build, lead, and scale the product organisation: mentor PMs/designers and drive high standards of product thinking and execution.Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.Translate executive-level strategy into clear product plans, priorities, and trade-offs.Champion a strong product culture focused on customer value, outcomes, and long-term product-market fit.🧩 Ideal CandidateSenior product leadership experience (Head of Product / Director equivalent) in SaaS, platform, or product-led businesses.B2B marketplace or Fintech experience is a plus.Proven ability to grow and mature product teams.Comfortable with ambiguity; capable of both shaping strategy and being hands-on.Strong communicator with cross-functional leadership strengths.Strategic, customer-centric, data-informed, and pragmatic.✨ Cultural FitOur client values leaders who thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments; combine hands-on ownership with scalable thinking; and consistently ask, “Are we building what matters?”📍 Location & TeamBerlin HQ5 days/week in officeLead 2 PMs + 1 Designer, with further team expansion ahead
