Advanced Process Control Engineer

My international client, a market leader within the Biofuels Machinery Manufacturing, is currently looking for an Advanced Control Process Engineer. This is a very exciting role for a very important client who is making a change.



Responsibilities:


• Execute optimization initiatives

• Conduct on-site evaluations

• Analyze data to pinpoint causes of process variability

• Discover potential savings and efficiency improvements and present solutions

• Identify process interactions or disturbances

• Develop and implement Advanced Process Control (APC) solutions, including control strategies, to enhance process performance

• Draft control narratives for APC projects

• Evaluate and fine-tune PID loops and parameters

• Utilize advanced data analytics for virtual sensors on the Metris platform

• Collaborate with control room operators and process engineers to carry out commissioning and control response tests

• Ensure ongoing benefits through continuous monitoring

• Coordinate with other professionals within ANDRITZ

• Engage in continuous learning


Technical Skills:


• Possess a degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field

• Proficient in automation and control concepts (e.g., PID Controller, control loop tuning, different process types: self-regulated/integrator; process modeling: 1st order, 2nd order, dead time)

• Have fundamental knowledge of industrial processes

• Accumulate a minimum of three (3) years of experience in automation

• Demonstrate basic understanding of instrumentation

• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities in English
