Head of IT for our digitization and IT department #TRACEBACKER WE ARE LOOKING FOR TRACE BACKER (M/F/D) as Head of IT for our Digitalization and IT department full-time (39 hours/week). You leave your mark here As a manager, you will be responsible for the Information Technology department with two teams and a total of 15 employees You are responsible for the stable, secure and future-proof operation of the city's IT infrastructure You will shape the development of a modern IT department that actively promotes digitalization and makes the administration fit for the future You will lead and manage large IT projects from planning to successful implementation You develop practical, efficient IT solutions with a high degree of personal responsibility and a great deal of creative freedom within the framework of the technical objectives You make the difference for us if you have completed a university degree (Master's) in computer science, information technology or a comparable subject and have several years of professional experience in IT think strategically, see IT security and digitalization as an opportunity and break new ground with courage and a solution-oriented approach have experience in managing projects, teams and budgets and impress with your strong communication skills, moderation skills and empathy approach complex topics in a structured and analytical manner, make decisions independently and keep an eye on the big picture inspire people with organizational talent, negotiating skills and an appreciative leadership style and actively shape change As a tracker (m/f/d) at the City of Offenburg, we offer you a permanent employment contract in accordance with the provisions of TVöD in pay group 14 (currently full-time and between 5,150 and 7,350 euros gross per month depending on professional experience) as well as a variety of attractive offers related to your employment. In addition to annual special payments and 30 days of vacation per year, this also includes the option to lease a job bike.
