Joinour Software architecture team, that works alongside our featureteams to develop sophisticated functions, to present the mostadvanced autonomous driving functionalities to the driver of BMWvehicles. As part of our project team for the next generationintegration platform, you will frame and optimize the Softwarearchitecture of this platform that enables both drivers control andautonomous driving for the future generation of cars of the BMWGroup.
What awaitsyou?
- Being an expert forclear, efficient, and pioneering SW architectures, you care aboutdesigning the SW-architecture for our high-performance POSIXSoftware Platform.
- You support the optimizationof our multi-camera video subsystem to seamlessly cooperate withthe customer applications utilizing the same resources (CPUs, HWaccelerators).
- The (resource) management of thecomplex cluster of applications (e.g. Autonomous Driving, Parking,Sensor perception, Interior Sensing) running in parallel on the ECUis one of your main tasks. You fulfil these tasks together with theapplication managers in a weekly exchange.
- Withyour knowledge you ensure that the behavior of the platform meetsthe requirements from the customer function and integrationperspective, incl. the management of platform resources (Runtime,Memory, etc.), lifecycle management, degradation,etc.
- In your daily work, you will find yourselfin an international and interdisciplinary environment andcollaborate intensively with our cooperation partners, suppliersand internal partners.
- Our Autonomous DrivingCampus offers the infrastructure you need to work productively andfocus on the software for the automobile of thefuture.
What should youbring along?
- Universitydegree in engineering, Computer Sciences or relatedsubjects.
- Extensive expertise in POSIX basedoperating systems especially Linux &QNX.
- Extensive expertise in latest C++standards.
- Hands-on expertise in AdaptiveAutosar.
- Expertise in Video processingalgorithms like H.265 codecs, auto balancing, autoexposure.
- Business-fluent English, Germanlanguage skills would be a plus.
