For our Motion Lab Team in Munich we are looking for a


Software Engineer/ Expert- Suspension (m/f/x)


Responsibilities:

  • Develop core algorithms for active suspension application layer.
  • Develop core algorithms for active suspension actuators.
  • Develop core algorithms for active suspension preview control.
  • Analyze software requirements and develop software for the chassis line control active suspension application layer.
  • Resolve issues encountered in the development process of fully active suspension software.
  • Manage software-level requirements and communicate with system development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with system engineering, software architects, and software test engineers.
  • Support application and calibration tasks in both simulation and vehicle test environments.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing fully active suspension control software.
  • Strong capability in developing functions related to vertical vehicle dynamics (damping, height, stiffness, vertical force).
  • Proficient in the professional competencies of main active suspension products.
  • Familiarity with the ASPICE system and experience in its implementation.
  • Proficient in software tools such as Matlab Simulink, INCA, and CAN Analyzer.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of underlying software and familiarity with AUTOSAR or other automotive operating systems is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of standard software requirement management tools (Doors, Polarion, Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience in global team management with the ability to adapt to different cultural environments.
  • Experience in project life cycle management with global teams.
