KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the organization’s objectives and challenges, come up with a people centric strategy/a long-term plan for the highly qualified people pipeline and development in the region.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs. Recruit, train and develop highly productive candidates motivated to achieve business objectives, including among hourly and salaried staff.
  • Assisting function teams on performance management, by planning, assigning, and reviewing assignments, counseling staff, evaluating performance, and approving or recommending improvement actions and plans.
  • Ensure all facets of compensation are in line with Company Seating standards, local regulations, and laws. Review and analyze compensation data to create reports that highlight trends,discrepancies, and actionable items. Resolve any local dilemmas in relation with compensation and ensure a streamlined approach compliant with Company Seating directives.
  • Transfer, develop, implement, and maintain Company Seating company policies, programs, and procedures to foster understanding of and improvement in management, supervisory, and/or employee relations. Review, mediate, suggest solutions, and resolve employee disputes.
  • Monitor and ensures the organization’s compliance with local employment related laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Determine the need for, supervise and participate in the development and maintenance of human resources programs, HRIS systems, and studies. Review and modifies policies and procedures to maintain compliance.


QUALIFICATION

  • University degree (bachelor and above) in business administration, human resources, labor relations, or business or a field related to the position.
  • Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience, of which at least 3 years’ proven track record of success in HR and Admin.
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and European labour market, including industry trends, labour market insights, and regulatory environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify growth opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Extensive knowledge of local employment laws, rules, and/or regulations affecting human resources administration; additional education, training and/or work experience in area of specialization inherent to this may be required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suit and HRIS systems.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally internationally.
