For our Department for Unmanned Aircraft in Braunschweig we are looking for a Student Computer Science, Webdesign, Aerospace Engineering or similar (f/m/x), Development of a web-based holistic flight testing tool

Das erwartet Sie:

The Institute of Flight Systems Technology at DLR Braunschweig is engaged in the research and development of new concepts and technologies for unmanned aircraft. To this end, the institute maintains a diverse fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles for flight tests. A web-based tool is to be developed to support the crew during flight test campaigns. The tool will be used to

  • record the necessary authorisations
  • provide relevant informations such as weather data
  • aggregate test results
  • document and distribute lessons learned
  • check maintenance intervals
  • log vehicle and pilot flight times
  • etc.
Das erwarten wir von Ihnen:
  • Student of Computer Science / Webdesign / Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study
  • experience in at least one modern full stack framework
  • knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript or modern frameworks
  • knowledge of basic backend technologies, like REST-APIs and Databases
  • good experience with Git
  • willingness to develop and learn new skills
  • interest in the field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems
