Electrical Construction Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team, working on a 3&1 or 10&4 rotation on major Data Centre projects across Europe. In this role, you will take full responsibility for managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from planning and execution to final project close-out. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.About UsMTM Engineering is a market leading specialist electrical contractor that provides medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all aspects of project construction from mobilisation through to completion and handoverDevelop and maintain detailed construction schedules and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with contract requirementsManage project timelines, priorities, and resourcing in collaboration with site supervisors and support functionsOversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standardsMonitor progress and performance using appropriate tools, and report regularly to senior management and the clientProactively identify risks and manage mitigation plans to prevent disruption to the construction programmeCoordinate with internal functions including EHSQ, HR, and Procurement to ensure compliance and smooth execution on-siteSupport recruitment and onboarding of new team members and subcontractors; ensure workforce is trained, supported, and performing effectivelyManage and resolve site-level issues, conflicts, and performance challenges as they ariseEnsure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are always adhered toMaintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders through regular meetings, updates, and reportLead final project evaluation including close-out reporting and lessons learned to support continuous improvementPerform other duties as required to support the successful delivery of the construction projectEssential RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience managing electrical construction works, preferably in mission-critical or data centre environmentsStrong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, containment, cable installation, and commissioning activitiesProven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in a high-performance settingExcellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under tight deadlinesDeep understanding of construction health and safety standards and regulationsFluent in English (minimum C2 level), both written and spokenEU citizenship or unrestricted visa-free travel within the EUStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in project tracking and reporting toolsMTM Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
