Product Solution Architect

Elastic Computing Service (ECS) is a leading core cloud service product from Alibaba Cloud, providing scalable and efficient computing power to customers. We leverage cutting-edge technologies to help customers build stable, secure applications, enhance operational efficiency, reduce IT costs, and drive core business innovation. ECS is transforming the way computing resources are utilized, influencing the ecosystem and economy of computing resources. Join us in redefining the future of computing resources and making history.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assume accountability for the commercial outcomes of ECS products.
2. Based on enterprise customers' business requirements, plan and design cloud migration solutions, continuously enhancing the market competitiveness and market share of compute products.
3. Work closely with frontline architects and BTE sales, understand the current technical challenges faced by clients, assist business parties in resolving technical issues, and drive business growth through technology.
4. Drawing from customer needs, propose product recommendations regarding stability, functionality, performance, and availability to feedback into product development.
5. Through serving industry clients, accumulate industry-specific solution templates and establish best practices.
Requirements：
Professional Skills Required:
- Expertise in Virtualization and Cloud Computing: With at least 5 years of experience in virtualization and cloud computing, candidates should possess a deep understanding of enterprise architecture design and cloud computing virtualization pre-sales.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IAAS layer products including computing, storage, networking, GPU, and security is essential, along with hands-on experience in data management technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB, and Hadoop.
- Cloud-Native Technologies: Proficiency in container and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, containers, Serverless, and Istio is crucial, alongside a strong grasp of microservice architecture, Serverless infrastructure, and DevOps processes.
- Industry Insights: Experience in one or more industry domains, coupled with a deep understanding of industry trends and typical business scenarios, will be highly advantageous.
General Skills:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to organize cross-functional collaboration and effectively manage projects involving multiple departments.
- Customer Management: Experience in managing government and large enterprise customers, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage user needs and expectations effectively.
- Business Acumen: Business-oriented mindset with the capacity to support multiple projects concurrently and swiftly adapt to evolving business requirements.
- Language proficient in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Having Alibaba Cloud technical certifications (ACP, ACA) or other relevant cloud vendor certifications would be a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields
