Storage Product Solution Architect

As a Storage Product Solution Architect at Alibaba Cloud, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to deliver comprehensive storage solutions, leveraging Alibaba Cloud's portfolio including object, file, block, table storage, and more. Your work will support a wide range of cloud storage needs for our clients in data-intensive areas like AI, data lakes, multimedia, and backup for disaster recovery.
Responsibilities include:
1. Be responsible for the results of storage business objectives.
2. Act as a trusted advisor to provide consultative services and technical assistance to clients, aligning Alibaba Cloud's unique storage offerings with their specific needs to offer data-to-cloud solutions.
3. Keep tracking industry development trends and technological changes, and be able to guide users in making storage-related technical and business decisions as an industry expert.
4. Ensure the technical feasibility of key projects, promote project implementation, and accumulate best practice cases and industry solutions.
5. Understand, collect and feedback customer needs, and promote the improvement of storage products and service.
Requirements：
1. More than 5 years of pre-sale or sales experiences in storage products and solutions.
2. Have proficient business communication skills as a bridge between customers and product development teams.
3. Have good documentation skills to express architectural planning clearly, and be proficient in writing technical documents including proposals, use cases, references, and etc.
4. Have project management experiences. Be able to manage customer needs and coordinate the implementation of complex projects across business units. Be able to build the ecosystem by cooperating with the internal and external resources of the group.
5. Excellent teamwork spirit, professionalism, and stress resistance.
6. Language proficient in both English and Mandarin is required.
Familiar with one of the following items is preferred：
1. Understand Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and have the experiences on AI related storage solutions.
2. Have storage solution experiences on data lake/big data scenarios.
3. Have practical experience in multimedia storage business scenarios.
4. Be familiar with traditional enterprise storage solutions or technologies such as backup, disaster recovery, and continuous data protection.
