Ourclient is a fast-growing tech and AI company specialising ininnovative digital identity solutions. They are seeking a GlobalFinance Director to develop and implement robust financial systemsand processes that will support the company's scaling and ongoingsuccess. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers theopportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and play apivotal role in shaping the company's future. The position is basedin Munich, Germany. Partially remote work is anoption.
What the jobinvolves- Act as a strategic businesspartner to the CFO and collaborate closely with the seniormanagement team to drive business growth and execute the company'sstrategy
- Lead and oversee Accounting andFP&A, as well as new Corporate Development and M&A teamthat is about to be established
- Develop andintegrate advanced controlling and FP&A capabilities tostrengthen financial operations
- Build ahigh-performing finance team by enhancing integration betweenaccounting and FP&A functions
- Delivercomprehensive financial analysis of historical data to supportdecision-making and improve companyperformance
- Implement and optimise ERP andreporting systems, with a focus on automation and dataaccuracy
- Establish and uphold best practices ininternal controls and procedures to ensure company-wide complianceand continuous improvement
- Drive theforecasting and budgeting processes, delivering precise and timelyfinancial projections
- Support the business inachieving further growth by investing in the right initiativesaligned with KPIs for value creation
- Overseedaily financial management, corporate budgeting, and treasuryoperations
- Support the CFO in regional tax andfinancial planning activities
- Ensure compliancewith local, federal, and state regulations while managing corporategovernance responsibilities
- Collaborate withexternal stakeholders, including shareholders, auditors, taxadvisors, banks, and legal consultants, to fulfil organisationalrequirements
- University degree in finance,economics, business studies, or a relateddiscipline
- Several years of professionalexperience in finance and accounting; CPA or CMA certification is aplus
- Ability to work closely with the CFO,Managing Director, and executive team, with experience leadingfinance teams
- Solid experience in coordinatingaudit activities, managing reporting, budget development andanalysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll,and investment accounting, along with experience in implementingand optimising ERP systems
- Prior experience ina Private Equity-backed company is beneficial
- Astrategic mindset with a history of driving financial change andgrowth
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint,and familiarity with system automation and the development andimplementation of planning tools
- ERP systemexperience is a plus
- High degree of analyticalability and a proactive, problem-solvingapproach
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and eagerto contribute to a growing company
- Ability toadapt quickly to changing processes and procedures in a fast-pacedPrivate Equity environment
- Strong interpersonaland communication skills, with the ability to lead and develophigh-performing teams while fosteringcollaboration
- Strong written and verbalcommunication skills, with excellent attention todetail
- Fluency in both German andEnglish
