We are looking to hire in their Application Center located in Leuna, Germany a R&D Project Leader. Tasks Reporting directly to the Automotive market Business Development and Innovation Leader, this role requires a blend of formulation expertise within automotive materials and strong project management skills. The R&D Project Leader will have a pivotal role within the Application Center, focusing on driving projects related to automotive applications in alignment with market segments and project execution strategies. We highlight the following tasks: Prioritize projects based on market insights and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. Coordinate internal resources including Application Development Managers (ADMs), technical experts, lab personnel, and sales/support teams. Maintain clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Understand the properties required by customers and translate them into actionable product development plans. Utilize knowledge of polymers, additives, fillers, and other raw materials to optimize product formulations. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving market demands. Profile We are searching for someone with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, etc.). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of polymer materials. Fluency in English and German are a must.
