Job Description:


Our client is a private equity backed asset that offers B2B cloud solutions to mid-sizes and enterprises. We are looking for someone with considerable experience within the cloud ecosystem and in demonstrating a dynamic / hands on approach to creating cohesion between Sales and Marketing departments.


Responsibilities:


As the Head of Sales & Marketing, your role encompasses overseeing the entire sales AND marketing process from start to finish, as well as delivering results in both the DACH region and internationally. Leveraging a profound understanding of online-driven marketing processes within the cloud and SaaS realm, you will play a pivotal role in optimising and aligning marketing and sales processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with management to evolve a cost-effective sales and marketing strategy aimed at acquiring and nurturing new and existing clientele in the DACH region and globally.
  • Execute an integrated marketing strategy alongside a team of 7 professionals in sales and marketing.
  • Conceptualise and execute digital campaigns, including defining themes, touchpoints, and customer journeys, while ensuring synchronisation with sales endeavours.
  • Engage in the acquisition and management of independent sales partner organisations, focusing on partner development.
  • Oversee and enhance direct sales initiatives.
  • Generate reports and devise appropriate KPIs for sales and marketing, utilising OKRs to monitor and achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Lead, supervise, and foster the growth of the marketing and sales team comprising 7 members.
  • Conduct thorough competitive and market analyses.


Reporting Structure:


  • This position reports directly to the CEO.


Requirements:


  • 7+ years experience in B2B marketing and sales, preferably within the SaaS and cloud product domain.
  • A strong customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in numerical analysis, demonstrating excellent analytical skills.
  • A comprehensive grasp of B2B marketing and marketing automation processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in personnel management and development.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot is very advantageous.
  • Proficiency in German & English is essential.
  • Pragmatism and assertiveness in driving towards success.
  • A proactive approach to initiatives, while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.
