Freelance IT Project Manager (German Speaker) | Bremen, Germany


Location: Bremen, Germany (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week)

Contract: 1-year contract with possible extension

Start Date: ASAP


Are you a German-speaking IT Project Manager with proven experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) projects? We are looking for an experienced Freelance IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex PLM implementations, preferably in the life sciences sector. If you have a solid track record in Oracle Cloud PLM or similar systems, this role could be your next challenge.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of 2-3 complex PLM IT projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to motivate and guide them towards project success.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee strategic planning, roadmap creation, financial management, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Apply Oracle Cloud PLM expertise (or similar systems) to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with European business teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Implement and manage validated systems (CFR 9 Part 11) in the life science domain.
  • Ensure adherence to PM frameworks and conduct post-project reviews, including Lessons Learned documentation.


Requirements:

  • Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience managing PLM IT projects and implementing Oracle Cloud PLM or other PLM systems.
  • Experience in the life sciences industry and knowledge of validated systems is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to resolve project-related challenges.
  • Prince2/Scrum certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage project schedules, risks, and dependencies effectively.
  • Ability to work onsite in Bremen for 3 days per week with remote work for 2 days.
