Overview
We are a deeptech company of data scientists and engineers in CAE & Generative AI
enabling new frontier of engineering design optimization. We are launching a first SaaS
product with a novel data management platform, which among other feats,
prepares data for AI by automatically extracting data out of most CAE / CAD file formats
and automatically converting these into AI-ready data.
FLOW, the second element, predicts engineering design evaluations (e.g. CFD
evaluations) using various pre-trained AI models. Engineering designers can try more design
variations in less time, thereby allowing for enhanced aerodynamic and hydrodynamic
optimization, among many other physics use cases. We are currently focused on serving the
Automotive and Aerospace industry with pre-trained AI models, whereby no prior data
science experience is expected on the customer's part.
Your responsibilities and desired outcomes
As a Lead Full-Stack developer,, you will be responsible for laying the foundations of our Software Development Team. Your initial scope of work will be focused on on our Data Management Module [HUB], which is currently being developed by external contractors. You will start by getting onboarded by getting synchronized both on our Core functionalities which are developed internally and the externally developed Frond & Backend of the app. You will support our internal team to productionize our python services according to industrial standards & stay in close sync with our external partners. Once successfully delivered by our external partners, you will take full ownership of the software and will have full flexibility to strategically expand our software team to continue updating our application. The work may be challenging, however, at the same time very exciting and rewarding. You will be reporting
directly to our CTO & CPO and work closely with our team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers
& UX/UI Designers.

• Data Import & Export, Data Catalog, ETL, Data Analysis, AI Data Preparation Tools,
Reports Generation, Collaboration & User Management Features.
FLOW is working with our pre-trained AI Models in the Back-end and has the
following Key Features:
• Web-based 3D Viewer for high-performance 3D rendering of geometry and
simulation files
• Pre-trained AI Models for Engineering Predictions
• Data import & export functionalities
• 3D data publishing & sharing
Responsibilities
Management
• Oversee the development of our new Web-based Advanced Engineering Software,
including a Data Management Module [HUB] and an AI-based CAE (Computer
Aided Engineering) Module [FLOW]
• Manage our contractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of the UI and other
software components
• Ensure seamless integration, maintenance, and updates of the software post-delivery
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring
alignment of goals and expectations
• Take full ownership of the HUB Platform after its delivery in September 2024
• Expand the Software team to match the future needs (expected by late 2024/beginning
of 2025)
Backend
• Productionizing Python code for performance and efficiency
• Development of parallelization strategies for efficient data processing
• Develop Tests
o Unit Tests for our Python Core functionalities
o Integration tests
• API development
• Microservices
Frontend
• Implement data visualization tools and techniques within the UI
• Lay out foundational work on the frontend technologies as part of our Microservice
Architecture Software
• Expand the UI of the existing software with new features
Databases:
• Relational DB (PostgreSQL)
• Nice to have: Graph DB (Neo4j / Arango)
DevOps
• Docker Deploying app on AWS/GCP/Azure Kubernetes/ other orchestration system
• Terraform
• GitLab CI/CD
Required Skills
• Strong Proficiency in Python and experience with optimizing code and parallel
computing
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Knowledge of software architecture, specifically in modularization and microservices
• Expertise with the following tech stack:
o React.js
o Ngix
o Nest.js
o JWT
o Redis/Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL), Docker, Kubernetes, and RESTful APIs
• Cloud Computing experience (AWS or Azure)
Nice to have
• Prior experience in developing Web-based CAE or similar applications Data
Management Application
• Familiarity with SDKs & Libraries like KitWare VTK, and WebGL (Three.js),
Techsoft3d
• Know-how in Engineering and experience with CAE tools (ANSA, OpenFoam,
StarCCM+, Ansys)
• GraphDB (Neo4j/ArangoDB) (nice to have)
