We are looking for

We are looking for a passionate SRE engineer with great communication skills to lead our platform team. The ideal candidate has broad overview over cloud architecture, DevOPs, strong experience in NodeJS and GoLang, automation tools, containerization, CI/CD and at least two years of experience in leading teams. 

Your mission

Lead SRE Engineer responsibilities include: 

  • Mentor and lead the platform team, comprising of five engineers 
  • Establish SRE discipline at Ninox 
  • Ensure security, stability and availability of the Ninox platform 
  • Enhance and modernize the platform architecture incorporating best practices and state-of-the art architecture components 
  • Automate everything: minimize manual operations, plan and prioritize automations and self-healing capabilities 
  • Improve monitoring, logging, traceability to  
  • Work closely with backend and frontend engineering teams to deliver a reliably and highly performant product 
  • Support other engineering teams to automate the application lifecycle and design CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Analyse and resolve the root cause of production issues in direct interaction with the customer support team; establish and write postmortems 
  • Organize on-call rotation  
What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Backend Engineering. 
  • 2+ years of experience in managing a team 
  • Strong experience with Node.js and Go 
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Strong experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Packer. 
  • Strong Linux experience. 
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, SIEM tools like Wazuh, monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana, Loki or ELK Stack. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
