Head of Human Resources

Job title: Head of HRI am currently collaborating with one of my clients in need of an experienced Head of HR to setuptheir HR team on an interim/freelance basis on their new plant.Location: Brake, GermanyPosition Type: Interim (Full-time)Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week (On-site)Languages: German fluency Start Date: Mid November Main Responsibilities:HR Department Setup: Lead the creation of an HR function for a plant with over 100 employees, ensuring compliance with German labor laws.Compliance & Legal: Ensure adherence to German labor laws, contracts, union regulations, and employee grievance management.Employee Relations: Act as a primary contact for employees, managing disciplinary issues and fostering a positive workplace culture.Talent Management: Handle recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.Performance Management: Implement performance review systems and support managers in setting expectations and providing feedback.Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.Health & Safety: Ensure workplace safety compliance and promote employee well-being.Key Skillsets:German Labor Law Expertise: Strong knowledge of German employment laws, union regulations, and compliance in manufacturing settings.HR Leadership: Experience in setting up HR departments and developing HR processes for plants with 100+ employees.Employee Relations: Ability to manage conflict resolution, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions.Recruitment & Talent Management: Skilled in recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent for manufacturing environments.Performance Management: Expertise in performance appraisals, feedback systems, and employee engagement.Training & Development: Ability to identify training needs and design development programs.if this role is of interest to yourself or fits someone you might know, send your updated CV to Pelo.Kgatlhanye@g2recruitment.com Looking forward to speaking.friendly regards,Pelo
