Robotics Field Application Engineer
Job Description:
Customer Visits and Demonstrations: Collaborate with our sales team to visit customers, demonstrating cobots and various applications.
Pre-Sales Support: Manage technical requirements during the pre-sales phase, working with colleagues to develop technical solutions. Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and our application partners.
On-Site Technical Support: Provide on-site assistance to customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure flawless implementation of applications and demonstration models.
Trade Fairs and Events: Showcase your technical expertise at trade fairs and confidently engage in customer meetings.
Education and Training: Conduct training sessions for our customers and partners, sharing your knowledge with enthusiasm.
Business Trips: Be prepared to spend up to 30% of your working time traveling for business.
Qualifications:
Technical Education: Completed studies in a relevant field (e.g., industrial engineering, robotics, automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering) or over 3 years of professional experience in a related area.
Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in robotics, automation, programming, troubleshooting, training, or development.
Self-Organization and Motivation: Demonstrated ability to self-organize and stay motivated. Clear, efficient, and targeted communication skills.
Programming Skills: Proficient in at least one industrial robot language and enthusiastic about programming controllers.
Technical Understanding: Experience with robotics projects and a strong grasp of concepts like position multiplication, forward and reverse kinematics.
Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written, C2 level); additional languages are a plus.
Driving License: Class B driving license.
