Reporting directly to our CTO, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a modern engineering organization and influencing product strategy.


Your Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Lead a high-performing engineering team to deliver scalable, customer-focused software solutions using technologies like PHP, MySQL, GCP, GraphQL, and Vue.js.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring clear customer impact and measurable business value.
  • Champion agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban), driving continuous improvement in processes and team efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence.
  • Make and support architectural decisions, ensuring long-term technical quality and innovation.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide your team’s direction and performance.


Your Profile

We’re looking for a leader who brings:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
  • A proven track record of making data-informed decisions to guide technical direction and team performance.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, GraphQL, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills in German and English.
  • Hands-on experience with agile practices and ownership of technical and organizational challenges.
  • A passion for fostering growth within teams and delivering impactful solutions.
