About usJoin our team as a Product Manager focusing on Aerospace market for ZERODUR glass ceramic, a high-performance material used in cutting-edge high precision applications worldwide. In this role within our Business Unit Advanced Optics, you will shape product strategy, drive innovation, and ensure our portfolio meets the highest standards of excellence. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to bring impactful solutions to market.Your ContributionDefine and execute product strategy, including roadmap, pricing, and marketing mix.Manage the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, ensuring performance and continuous improvement.Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions.Develop business cases and plans for new product ideas, driving innovation and growth.Lead product launches and support sales teams with training, technical advice, and marketing materials.Represent the company at industry events, science conferences and academic networks and build strong networks with key stakeholders.Your ProfileMasters degree in Science, Engineering, Business with a highly technical focus, or a related field; PhD is a plus.Proven experience in product management, ideally in high-tech, materials or aerospace industries.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across global teams.Fluent in English; German and French language skills are an advantage.Your BenefitsSCHOTTs openness to promote your further development is just as great as our additional benefits.
