(Senior) Enterprise/Solutions Architect - Application & Integration Architecture

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in a global company, shaping the landscape by leading the design and implementation of the application and integration architecture. This is a unique opportunity to influence a major ERP migration and have a significant impact on the company's direction.
Responsibilities:
- Report to CIO
- Collaborate with IT Service Managers/Owners to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on application & integration architecture
- Proactively analyse and optimize existing solutions, ensuring alignment with current IT landscape
- Lead the definition and development of company-wide development standards and best practices
- Champion the selection and implementation of new technologies and solutions, including a major upcoming ERP migration
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Fluent German
- Several years experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
- Deep expertise in core application and integration architecture. (Experience as an IT Solutions Architect specialising in classical applications & integration is preferred)
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying current with emerging technologies
- Experience working at various companies or within a consultancy, bringing diverse knowledge and experience in different architectural setups
- Positive and open-minded with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
