Project Director – Frankfurt, GermanyExceptional opportunity for an experienced Project Director/Senior Project Manager to join a leading German Architectural and Engineering consultancy, overseeing large and technically complex developments, with a strong focus on data centres and high-tech industrial projects across all HOAI phases (1–9).Location: FrankfurtSalary: €95,000 + package (based on experience)Job DescriptionThe Resolute Group is supporting a major German Architectural and Engineering firm seeking to appoint a senior Project Director to lead strategic project delivery in Frankfurt. This position will take full responsibility for the successful execution of complex technical projects, including mission-critical facilities and data centres, from early concept and permitting through design, construction, commissioning, and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding overall leadership and accountability for end-to-end project delivery across all HOAI phasesDirecting and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams (architecture, structural, MEP, specialist consultants)Setting project strategy, overseeing programme planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk managementActing as the primary senior contact for clients, investors, authorities, and key stakeholdersManaging high-value tendering, procurement, contract negotiations, and commercial oversightEnsuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and compliance with German regulations and permitting processesLeading site supervision, progress monitoring, and performance reviews through to project completionEnsuring structured communication and reporting at executive and project-board levelRequirementsDegree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline8+ years professional experience, including leadership of large technical or mission-critical projectsProven experience delivering data centre / high-tech / complex industrial projects in GermanyExcellent knowledge of German building codes, VOB, HOAI, and permitting processesGerman C2 fluency (essential), with strong English capabilityDemonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing major stakeholdersPlease Note:Applicants must be living in, or eligible to work in, Frankfurt or the surrounding region.If you are interested, please apply via the link or contact Meike Tomlinson or Fiona Cooper on LinkedIn, or call The Resolute Group at +44 (0)1332 653 911.If this role isn’t quite right, follow The Resolute Group on LinkedIn or visit our website for other senior opportunities.All correspondence is handled confidentially.
