Position Overview:
We seek a dedicated and experienced Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and administration. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews
- Onboard new employees by processing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, assisting with training programs, and supporting employees regarding HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigating complaints, resolving conflicts, and helping managers and employees like you to assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and compliance efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Be sure to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of proven experience as an HR with a focus on the German market
- Must have excellent German communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of the German labor market, employment regulations, and cultural nuances.Vitalg networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with candidates and industry professionals.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
