Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join our client's Frankfurt office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, with at least 2+ years of experience. The role requires a master's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance, and native proficiency in German. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading asset management firm and contribute to its ongoing success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, modeling, and valuation of potential investment opportunities.
- Perform due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis to support investment decisions.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees.
- Support the execution of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
- Monitor and manage portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to drive value creation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Native proficiency in German and fluent in English.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
