Tsunami Axis GmbH are looking for a passionate Project Consultant who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers, and support the acquisition of major new clients. Working primarily alongside the Regional Director, you will provide a range of creative, value driven and detail orientated furniture proposals, from project initiation to final order specification, including creating and delivering compelling presentations and supporting client meetings. You will engage and work closely with the wider Tsunami Axis team in Germany and the UK to ensure smooth, clear and responsive collaboration required to deliver profitable business that achieves customer success.


This role would suit someone with an understanding of the German contract furniture industry and wider supply chain, with some sales experience and a .demonstrated ability to communicate effectively up to C-Suite. The candidate will be required to travel with some overnight stays.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Alongside the Regional Director, develop long-term relationships with new and existing Tsunami Axis clients, designers and project managers.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, engaging the necessary internal resources to deliver the project.
  • Manage project budget - ensure all costs/margins are monitored when and where necessary.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountability for procurement, quotations and liaising with sales support and project managers for smooth handover.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within the account and new business opportunities to which you are assigned.
  • Ensure growth of margin position within the accounts and new business opportunities to which you are assigned.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Understanding of the German contract furniture industry and wider supply chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively up to C-Suite.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • High level verbal and written communications skills
