The Role:

This position is client-facing and requires collaboration with team members to develop the client's strategy, assisting in the selection of the extended professional team of local consultants and contractors. This role will contribute to the growth of our expanding data centre division.

  • You will oversee and manage project plans from inception through design development, contractor procurement, and construction phases, adhering to the overall delivery schedule and agreed milestones.
  • You will support senior project managers and other leaders by managing tasks and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
  • You will determine and arrange necessary project technical services and external resources.
  • You will lead and supervise project teams and stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined in the project plan.
  • You will maintain and update project plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring diligent management and successful project delivery while identifying risks and challenges.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust quality systems are in place and effectively managed.
  • You will document and manage project changes, ensuring they are processed within agreed timeframes.
  • You will ensure all approved handover documentation is coordinated and provided prior to project completion.
  • You will drive business priorities through construction, digital, and responsible business practices.
  • You will manage design, consultant, contractor, and supply chain teams to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
  • You will work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals and manage associated carbon emissions during project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, handling small to medium-sized projects.
  • Developed communication, presentation, and project planning skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in stakeholder coordination and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Proven competency in construction methodologies and sequencing.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
  • Knowledge of consultancy, construction, infrastructure, and property sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
