BI Reporting Manager (m/w/d) - SQL, Power BI, DAX


A BI Reporting Manager (m/w/d) is required to join an international retail organisation. The company has over 100 years of history with over 40,000 employees and 2,000 locations worldwide.


This role would be part of the Business Insights division which currently consists of 20 colleagues. There are also plans to grow the team to 30 by the end of the year.


In this role you would be responsible for the creation and development of automated reports in Power BI and have both strategic and operational responsibilities for the success of the reporting. You would also be the middle-man between the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence and the Finance department regarding reporting strategy, governance and policies.


Tasks:

  • Take strategic and operational responsibility for reporting.
  • Conception and development of automated and interactive reports in Power BI,
  • Responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from the recording and prioritisation of business requirements, implementation through to communication with the specialist departments
  • Be the point of contact for all data quality topics across various departments.

Your profile:

  • A min. of 2 years' experience in Data Engineering, Data Management, or Data Integration space topics.
  • Several years of experience with BI & reporting tools, (ideally Power BI), as well as with programming languages (SQL, DAX)
  • High attention to detail and the ability to recognise correlations in data and present them graphically in an impressive way.
  • Willingness and ability to bridge the gap between business and tech for internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
