We are seeking apassionate and skilled Director Product to lead one of our dynamicTech Units. Our Tech Department is the engine of ABOUT YOU,committed to developing top-tier infrastructure and applications.As the Director Product (m/f/d), youwill co-lead a team of 20-25 professionals, including developers,product owners, business analysts, and project managers, alongsidethe Director of Engineering. Your expertise in eCommerce processes,stakeholder management, and technical leadership will be key indelivering high-quality features that drive our growth. We’relooking for someone who is hands-on, deeply involved in thetechnology, and able to dive into technical challenges whenneeded.

What you willdo

  • Manage and mentor across-functional team of 20 members including developers, seniorproduct managers, and project managers; support decision-makingprocesses and address challenges and needs in dailyoperations.
  • Closely collaborate withstakeholders (business and tech) to understand their needs,advocate smart and business-value driven solutions across your techteams, as well as to sensitize stakeholders to the techperspective.
  • Act as a role model and leader foryour team, keep spirits high, get yourself involved wherever neededand bring drive into the unit.
  • Throughco-leadership with the Director of Tech, enable application teamsto deliver high-quality technical and business roadmap features ontime, supporting the growth plans of ABOUTYOU.
  • Establish an environment of knowledgeexchange to manage and distribute knowledge within and acrossteams.
  • Align with the ABOUT YOU Commerce VPlevel on the strategic direction of the unit, goals and measures inline with overall companytargets.

Who youare

  • A seasonedmanagement professional with 10+ years of professional experiencewith a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing teamenvironments that enable tech teams from a product/projectperspective to function at their best.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills that help you understand andmanage business and tech stakeholder needs as well as to maintain asustainable relationship withstakeholders.
  • Product-oriented thinking andgood understanding of partner and B2Bprocesses.
  • Tech enthusiast, experience in thedigital retailing market with a focus on B2B processes is aplus.
  • You are comfortable with working in aninternational working environment and your written and spokenEnglish skills are very good.
  • While managingteams and making high-level decisions, you are willing to “digdeep” into operations and help teams unblock and reach theirgoals.
  • You can identify with a proactive,responsible and data-driven mindset and feel confident in makinginformed decisions.
  • To align on effective andtimely solutions you create full transparency on management level,including positive status updates as well as operationalchallenges, risks andimpediments.
