Sales Director Job Description


Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, new energy, electricity, battery technology, or a related discipline.
  • Over a decade of experience in solar industry sales, with a strong preference for those with knowledge of inverter and battery products.
  • An extensive network of contacts within the German solar energy storage installation and distribution sectors.
  • A proven track record of exceptional individual sales performance.
  • Strong business acumen and expertise in the industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills, with a history of successful business contract negotiations.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and developing strategic plans.
  • A thorough understanding of the solar market and its evolving trends.
  • A readiness to embrace frequent travel as part of the role.


Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate and nurture relationships with new wholesaler and installer accounts within Germany.
  2. Formulate and execute a tailored expansion sales strategy for the German market.
  3. Actively seek out and capitalize on business development opportunities within Germany.
  4. Serve as a knowledgeable brand representative, proficient in all aspects of the product range.
  5. Address commercial and product inquiries promptly and comprehensively.
  6. Ensure efficient order fulfillment through diligent oversight of the process.
  7. Manage and optimize the sales pipeline to consistently achieve or surpass sales targets.
  8. Proactively engage with potential customers, with a focus on the solar and electrical installation sectors.
  9. Foster enduring relationships with installers and distributors across Germany.
  10. Organize and conduct sales and product training sessions for partners and clients.
  11. Enhance the brand's market presence and reputation in Germany.
  12. Actively participate in industry events such as trade fairs and exhibitions, and other marketing initiatives.
  13. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, overseeing daily operations.
