Your area of responsibility
Manage test planning and execution and formulate and drive the strategy for automated testing
Proactively work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner and assist with traditional hands-on testing as needed
Creation of test code/glue code for BDD testing and code for test automation
Responsibility for reporting test results as well as maintaining and improving existing test cases and workflow
Creating accurate documentation to facilitate the identification and reproduction of bugs and issues
Maintaining and improving existing test cases and workflow as well as providing technical support to other teams in the integration of test tools
Preparing test data and setting up mocking systems if necessary, performing acceptance tests in the sprint and regression tests at the end of the sprint
Your profile
Completed studies in computer science or a comparable field and sound experience in the development and documentation of test cases with regard to functionality, API, performance, integration and usability
Experience with unit and infrastructure tests in the container and development environment
Secure knowledge of microservices tests in complex architectures with CI/CD structure and pipelines, e.g. Gitlab Pipeline/Jenkins as well as basic knowledge of DevOps activities
Comprehensive expertise in test automation (front-end and back-end), behaviour-driven testing and frameworks such as Karma, Selenium, Jest, Cypress,
Knowledge of programming languages for end-to-end, UI and functional tests (Gherkin)
Experience in test management in agile projects (Scrum) as well as with ticket management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
Practical experience with component, acceptance, integration, load and stress tests, debugging and performance measurements as well as with tools such as Postman or SoapUI
