Sedris Vision is an early stage startup based in Berlin, Germany, that aims to empower visually impaired individuals through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and wearable technology. Through our AI-powered wearable device, we provide support for a wide range of everyday tasks such as reading documents, navigating surrounding, assistance in public transport, grocery shopping, and more. Our goal is to help visually impaired individuals lead fulfilling and independent lives. We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of millions around the world.
Role Description
This is an entry level role for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Sedris Vision with 1 year limited contract. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI algorithms for computer vision, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP). You will also be involved in product development and contribute to the overall improvement of our AI-powered wearable device. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and make a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired individuals.
Qualifications
- Excellent programming skills in Python.
- Experience in developing and deploying AI models, particularly for Computer Vision and NLP tasks.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with Edge AI, Jetson and DeepStream/GStreamer would be advantageous.
- Experience with Vector Database would be a plus
- Experience with Docker/container would be a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passion for assistive technology and a desire to make a positive impact.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid visa to work in Germany
