We are hiring a skilled individual to join our business as a Functional Safety Engineer, you will support us through your professional leadership in successfully carrying out vehicle development projects.


Your tasks:

  • Creation of security concepts and security plans.
  • Creation and evaluation of safety analyses (FMECA, etc.) for a wide variety of rail vehicles (mainstream trains, regional trains, trams, special vehicles, etc.).
  • Derivation of safety requirements from the results of the hazard and risk analysis.
  • Creation of safety evidence (CENELEC standards, CSM-RA).
  • Assessment of technical solutions for risk minimization in the development of rail vehicles as part of new development, modernization or consulting projects.
  • Technical coordination with the respective partners and other responsible functional safety engineers (also in an international context).
  • Coordination and participation in the required verification as part of vehicle registration.


Your Profile:

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, rail vehicle technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a similar field.
  • Relevant professional experience in preparing safety cases for systems or subsystems
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards
  • In-depth knowledge of Office 365.
