Reporting to the Asset Integrity and Engineering Leader , the incumbent's responsibilities encompass the following:

  • Ensuring technical safety at the Stade site as a specialized electrical engineer, covering product, plant, and operational safety across multiple large-scale chemical production facilities.
  • Managing monitoring, documentation, and compliance with legal requirements, liaising with regulatory bodies and designated professionals, overseeing electrical safety at the Stade location.
  • Providing technical support for workshops and systems during machine failures, repairs, optimizations, and project activities.
  • Upholding technical standards and best practices within the discipline.
  • Assuming technical oversight for new construction projects and conversions within the specialist discipline.

Primary focus is on the Stade plant, with occasional remote support to plants in Baltringen, Rheinmünster, Pisticci, and Guaruja.

Key Tasks:

  • Defining, monitoring, and optimizing inspection programs within legal and company guidelines.
  • Collaborating on projects with engineering partner firms.
  • Coordinating the specialist area internally, with external service providers, and within the Stade Industrial Park.
  • Defining and evolving standards, tools, and workflows.
  • Advising on required qualifications for inspection staff and conducting internal training as per legal and company standards.
  • Providing guidance to employees and managers on repairs, inspections, documentation, changes, projects, and commissioning.

Qualification Profile:

  • Relevant completed studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in plant engineering, maintenance/monitoring, machine manufacturing, design offices, engineering firms, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety, environmental protection, and industrial hygiene guidelines and regulations.
  • Familiarity with established technical standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Expertise in technical energy-saving strategies (EnEV) for operations and new installations.
  • Proficiency in quality systems, specialized tools, and engineering platforms like Engineering Base.
  • Strong communication, management, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
