Aboutthe TeamFirebolt’s Field team is responsiblefor ensuring that customers and prospects achieve value withFirebolt’s product. The team spans both pre-sales and post-sales,and consists of Customer Success Managers, Support Engineers andSolutions Architects.
About theRoleSolutions Architects own the technicalevaluation process for Firebolt’s customers and prospects. You willhelp prospects understand Firebolt’s value proposition for theiruse cases, provide guidance around product best practices, andexecute critical product tests in collaboration with technicalstakeholders. We’re looking for an experienced data guru withbroad, customer-facing experience in the data ecosystem to help ourprospects and customers unleash Firebolt’s potential smoothly andquickly.
What you’lldo- Lead POCs through requirementgathering and hands-on Fireboltimplementation.
- Ensure customers implement anduse Firebolt according to best practices and unleash its fullpotential, both in pre and post-saleengagements.
- Become Firebolt’s platform expertand work closely with Product and Engineering to turn customerchallenges into features and solutions.
- PresentFirebolt’s platform and benefits to prospective customers andpartners.
- Work closely with the rest of theaccount team to help customers and prospects succeed with theirFirebolt usecases.
- 3+years of experience in pre or post-sale activities for a softwarevendor (e.g. sales engineer, solutions engineer, solutionsarchitect, etc)
- 3+ years of hands-on experiencewith database/data warehouse implementations in cloudenvironments
- Deep understanding of the data andanalytics space
- Fluent inSQL
- Deep understanding of data warehousingconcepts
- Hands-on experience with analytic usecases, ETL workflows, and BI tools
- Richhands-on experience with the AWSecosystem
- Great communication skills and theability to transfer knowledge effectively toprospects/customers
- Ability to work withbusiness and technical audiences and lead business requirementmeetings, technical white boarding exercises, and SQLcoding/debugging sessions
